This tip takes us outside for a fresh take on hopscotch! You’ll need some chalk for this game and some space on the sidewalk.

First, you will draw circles that are jumping distance apart and work your way down the sidewalk making a jumping path. You can make as many or as few circles as you’d like.

Then, you can choose whether players can use one foot to hop or both (you can change it up each round for some variety).

Allow players to make their own path by hopping from one circle to the next down the path. For children working on counting, you can have them count as they hop (add in skip counting for a challenge!).

And most important of all: HAVE FUN!
