Q&A: My child gained some weight during the pandemic. What are some suggestions for getting them to move?

This is a really common question from a lot of people. We’ve had such a HUGE change in our lifestyle, and we don’t need to focus on the “hey, you’ve gained weight, let’s move!” It should be more about changing your daily schedule to allow for more movement. And make it FUN!

You don’t ever want to make your kid feel like they have to move because they gained weight. It’s more important for them to understand that we are moving so we can stay healthy. Most kids want to move, so just make it a part of your day and do it with them!!
